Full In-depth Review of the VooPoo Drag

VooPoo DRAG 157W TC ModDon’t get hung up on the company’s name. Instead, focus on the product, because it’s worthy of your attention. In this review, we’re going to take a look at the Drag 157W TC box mod from VooPoo (you were warned about the name!). Given its rich set of features and powerful capabilities, we think it’s one of the best vape mods in its class and that you’ll be impressed enough to want to try it out for yourself. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at this new product with our VooPoo DRAG 157W TC Gene Chip Box Mod review.

Let’s get the design out of the way up front. This is a relatively small device, powered by two 18650 batteries. It comes in only two color options, silver and black or silver and red. That’s a bit of a disappointment, of course, and I’ll always wonder why more companies don’t opt to give users a wider variety of design choices.

The VooPoo Drag from the topThis is one of the boxier designs to come out in recent years. While other products seem to have standardized the rounded-edge look, the Drag looks and feels like the box mod that it is. This hearkens back to the earlier days of the box mod craze, which gives it kind of a retro feel. And, as nice as high-tech and sporty designs might be, I’ve always appreciated the classics. This has that kind of design.

The Mod

You will eventually have to get used to the company name, of course, as it is emblazoned on one side of the chassis, in small letters. It adds another classic touch to the design. The Drag logo is the largest identifier and appears on the battery door in large text. Overall, those logos feel right at home, and their placement does nothing to detract from the aesthetics.

The batteries are kept in place with magnets on the door. As I’ve said elsewhere, this is a feature that we really appreciate, and we hope that it becomes a standard for the industry. Unlike most latches and other door closings, the magnets can offer greater longevity without the wear and tear worries that often arise with inferior designs. Eventually, we suspect that magnets will be the option of choice for pretty much all of the best e cig products, well, where appropriate!Battery compartment on the VooPoo Drag

There is also the standard USB port that you need for charging, and solid fire buttons and control buttons to manage device settings. Those settings offer the user flexibility that includes:

  • The ability to control the curve of the device’s wattage
  • The ability to control temperature curve
  • Smart wattage features that allow the Gene Fun chip to manage wattage based on coil resistance changes. That’s a great option to use when you want to protect new coils.
  • Wattage variability. You can get this feature by executing the firmware upgrade.

That chip also provides a host of security features that will protect you by ensuring a timeout when you’ve inhaled a certain amount of time, guard against excessive heat, and prevent overcharging, short-circuit, and other common dangers like those horror stories about vaping explosions which are just ridiculous by the way! These types of protections are often neglected in reviews of products like these, but they’re important features to learn about.

It’s important to note that this device also allows you the option of using a computer interface to customize settings for vaping and temperature curve. Rather than just use preset curves, you can create your own – simply by connecting your device to your computer and using the software provided with the Drag. That’s a really impressive feature, and should be attractive for hobbyists and those enthusiasts who are really selective about vape settings. It only works with Windows operating systems, though.

We really liked the boxiness of the devices. That’s something that you’ll have to decide for yourself, however it’s not really a mod for those who are looking to quit smoking through vaping, but for those who want to improve their vaping experience. The really important thing is that we were thrilled with all of our test runs with different builds. We managed to get consistent wattage at different temperature settings, and captured huge clouds. At the same time, we maintained flavor and had some of the best group vape sessions we’ve enjoyed in quite some time. Any box mod that can provide our test group with that kind of memorable experienced deserves a bucket of thumb-ups.

VOOPOO VFL Pod System – I have never seen such an AIO

VOOPOO company took a short break for rest and not only. During their absence, they came up with an interesting novelty. By the way, something has recently drawn them to the starting segment, and they started off as aggressively – I mean the drag. Nevertheless, they have already filled their hand in AIO sets, therefore we meet the next starting set. Looking ahead, I will say that this is probably one of the few such devices that I would love to add to my collection.

Well, how do you like the exterior? In my opinion, very nothing. Pleasant shapes, repeating the shape of the ball for American football. Dimensions, of course, are not the most compact, but you still do not know what this handsome man can do.

The color scheme also pleased me – they did not limit themselves to a basic set of colors, but zababahali had juicy, nontrivial options.

The plastic cap-mouthpiece crowns our hero. And here the buns already begin – there are two openings of different throughput. And as far as I understand, they can be used both individually and together.

Under the cover is a replaceable cartridge. It is refueled from above, but the capacity, due to the design features of the kit, is small. But don’t worry too much – this was the only “unpleasant moment” in our article.

Next we go down to the main building. Not only is the device quite ergonomic, it is also functional. So on the control panel there are two buttons and a bunch of LED indicators.

So you can adjust the supplied voltage, and if you and this is not enough, you can adjust the preheating. About how – I do not even remember devices with similar functionality in this segment.

Connector for charging the battery placed on the bottom of the device, and under the rotary cover. So that’s what stole the battery capacity. What can I say, everything was sacrificed to the “cool exterior”.

Bellerophon RTA is a single-helix giant with a convenient base. Did not expect from Wismec?

Recently, the guys from Wismec somehow concentrated on starting sets and different AIO (like many other manufacturers). But a couple of days ago I learned about a new atomizer, which became a real surprise for me. So, meet the novelty with an unpronounceable name – Bellerophon .
Bellerophon RTA is a single-helix giant with a convenient base. Did not expect from Wismec?
Honestly, I do not remember when I last saw the tank from this manufacturer. A lot of non-services will not be considered – everything is done according to the template and there is no talk about the designers’ work. So, there is nothing to compare by design. We will assume, Wismecpersuaded their designers to do something interesting. My personal opinion is that the tank is just a space.

I do not even know what it was I liked so much. At first sight you understand that the tank is non-standard. But what is it to understand this complicated. Maybe it’s a beautiful image of a horse’s head? It turned out such an armored car with unusual shapes and a small “belly”. It should also be taken into account that the dimensions of the novelty are serious, so you can not screw it to stealth boxes: D

Unfortunately, I can not say that the technical guys showed some innovations. Rather, it looks as if the management thought about what they do not already have in the assortment and, as a result, a single-spiral tank appeared. Well, if you do not grumble, you can understand that the public now is just such things and are interested, soBellerophon exactly appeared at the right time.

So, before us is a tank designed for one spiral. According to the manufacturer, everything was done to ensure that the process of installing the coil was as convenient as possible. In fact, we already get to know all the base on two racks with one screw in each of them. The legs are built on the side, and I have to admit that this is really convenient. As for the size of the spiral, then, as it seems to me, there certainly will not have to be limited.
Bellerophon RTA is a single-helix giant with a convenient base. Did not expect from Wismec?
Blowing also should not shock anyone. In the evaporation chamber, air comes from two slots, the width of which is adjusted by turning the ring. To the spiral, the air flows through the slots in the racks themselves. I have tried this decision many times, both on tanks and on drippers, and I can not say that the taste was very pleasing. Let’s see what will happen in this case 🙂

From the tank of 27 mm just do not want to expect a problem with frequent refueling. But in this respect Wismec bit upset me. Fully refilled can contain only 4 ml of liquid. Even the use of bubble glass did not help. It’s a shame, but oh well. The holes for filling in the old manner were located under the top cover – unscrewed, filled, twisted.

SMOK Rolo Badge Kit Review – Curious Design So How Does It Vape?

smok rolo badge kit review

Rolo Badge By SMOK – A Vape Design Crime Or A Thing Of Vaping Beauty?

SMOK has burst onto the pod vaping scene with the recent release of the FIT kit the Infinix and now the SMOK Rolo Badge which we’re taking a look at in this review.

Looking very similar to the Asvape Defender the Rolo Badge is predominantly marketed towards the vaping beginners given it’s a simple to use mouth to lung (MTL) kit.

Its design is going to be a bone of contention and pretty much everyone who has seen me using it are split 50-50 between ‘love it’ and ‘hate it’.

As to what I think of it you’ll have to wait and see

smok rolo badge in hand

OK this was sent to me free of charge for the purpose of review and as always my thoughts and opinions are my own.

So would I NOT give you my last Rolo or am I more than happy for the DA to take my Badge and gun [why is that said in every cop movie lol]?

Let’s take a closer look.

  • 1 x Smok Rolo Badge Device
  • 2 x Smok Rolo Badge 2ml Pods
  • 1 x eLiquid Injection Bottle
  • 1 x USB Cable
  • 1 x User Manual

SMOK Rolo Badge Specs

  • Height: 7.2cm (2.8″)
  • Width: 5.0cm (2.0″)
  • Depth: 1.5cm (0.6″)
  • Weight: 62g
  • 250mAH internal battery
  • 2ml capacity

Key Features

There’s no getting away from it the keyest of features of this Pod Mod is the design and we’ll get onto that shortly.

OK under the shall we say interesting design of the SMOK Rolo Badge lies a 250mAH internal battery with a power range of between 10 and 16 watts meaning this is mouth to lung device [MTL].

The pods have a wattage range of 7 and 12watts but no sign of the actual resistance though they are probably 1.0 ohm plus.

smoko rolo badge pod

There’s no buttons or menus and the Rolo is breath activated – inhale and so long as there’s sufficient battery life left you’ll get a hit.

SMOK has added a couple of safety features namely an 8 second cut off [like the Infinix] – low voltage and short circuit protection.

You get a couple of the 2ml refillable pods and packs of 3 can be bought as an extra.

SMOK Rolo Badge Kit Quick Start Guide

  • Make sure device is charged
  • Open rubber bung/s on pod to fill with e-liquid
  • Slide into the battery
  • Wait 10 minutes for the e-liquid to soak into the coils
  • Inhale to vape

LED Lights

  • Light will flash x5 times when vaping over 8 seconds and shut off
  • Light will flash x4 times if short circuit detected and shut down
  • Device will flash x15 when low voltage is detected and shut down
  • When vaping LED stays solid

NOTE: just like the Infinix SMOK says after a time condensation can gather on both the pod and battery connectors – simply wipe dry.

Design and Build Quality

Now I’m pretty sure this like the Defender Kit from Asvape will split the world of vaping into the likes and intently dislikes.

Build wise I really can’t fault it and far from the plasticcy pound store toy feel I was expecting I was pleasantly surprised at just how sturdy and well put together it is, especially given the price.

The pods slide in nicely enough but there’s no satisfying click so do make sure they are snugly in place although a magnet does keep it secure and I have had no rattling or leakage at all.

smok rolo badge pod connector

OK to the design.

I don’t like it – not one little bit.

I’ve used the word ‘toy’ already and to me that is exactly what it looks like and to some extent feels like.

This is definitely one to keep away from the kids.

What I will say is unlike the Asvape Defender – which I haven’t used but have watched more than a few reviews – the Rolo is it’s fair to say very comfortable on the lips.

Filling is easy enough if a little fiddly and if you’re a little too generous with the juice it will leak everywhere so less is more.

smok rolo badge re-filling

The pod has x2 rubber gaskets to open to be able to fill I have opened both and just one and had no issues filling either way.

And just like the Infinix I do recommend using the supplied 10ml needle point bottle to re-fill as it’s less messy and handy for taking out an about – though saying that as you can see I had no issues using standard e-liquid nozzles.

smok rolo refill bottle

It’s available in a wide range of colours however I have to say the gold version I received is an absolute fingerprint magnet.

The colourful resin shield with the SMOK logo on the front is a nice design feature but you do instinctively press it thinking it’s the fire button – or at least this old fool did and still does lol.

How Does the SMOK Rolo Badge Perform?

Look this is a relatively low powered pod device so vaping on the Rolo Badge isn’t going to be the best of experiences.

Having used more than a few pod kits I would say the flavour isn’t that good and the vapour is let’s say passable.

I’m struggling to explain what I mean about the inhale on this – it feels raggedy or turbulent if you catch my drift – certainly not the smoothest of vapes let’s put it that way.

smok rolo stealthy

I have used a 50/50 VG PG and it wicked very well indeed however it really doesn’t like higher VG juices at all, struggling to wick.

As to Nic Salts my apologies as I have run out so can’t comment.

However it is very comfortable on the lips and battery life is very good indeed as is the juice use – the 2mls does last a long time at those sort of wattage.

As a regular MTL vaper I wouldn’t buy this as even a back-up device as the vape quality for me personally just isn’t good enough.

  • Good build quality
  • Simple to use
  • Decent battery life
  • Comfortable on the lips
  • Refillable
  • X2 empty pods included
  • Pass through vaping [vape whilst charging]

  • Not a smooth vape
  • Design is subjective
  • Poor flavour
  • Pricey
  • Fingerprint magnet

In-depth Review of the OBS Cheetah 2 and Cheetah 2 Mini RDA

Black version of the OBS Cheetah 2
The OBS Cheetah 2 (24mm) and Cheetah 2 Mini (22mm) RDA tanks are just right for users who love the ritual of prepping and juicing to get the best-tasting vape and variety possible. They don’t have the convenient e-juice reservoirs of RTA’s like Digiflavor Pilgrim GTA and OBS’s Crius RDTA, and RDA’s require the user to prep the cotton with e-juice before vaping. RDA’s usually operate at higher power levels than RTA’s to ensure monumental clouds of juicy vapor.

Focus On www.urvapin.com For Best Vape Tanks.

OBS Cheetah 2 Mini in silver

The OBS Cheetah 2 Up Close And Personal

The Cheetah 2 and Cheetah 2 Mini look similar except for the 2mm difference in diameter and a small price difference. The base diameter is 24mm (or 22mm for the Cheetah 2 Mini), and the total size is 24mm × 34mm for the Cheetah2 and 22mm × 35.5mm for the Cheetah2 Mini.

There are four colors, but the gold and blue versions are scarce. You should get hold of the black or silver versions with ease. The base of each unit is engraved with two rather bellicose Cheetahs facing each other down – epic! The 304 stainless steel and all machined parts are smooth, and the double O-threads have a tight fit.

Airflow Advantage

The Cheetah 2 features an improved dual airflow system compared to the original OBS Cheeta RDA. The internal airflow hole is adjustable so that you can switch between concentrated flavor and building cumulus clouds, similar to the SMOK TFV12 Beast Tank. The external airflow slot is now on the side, so the air moves directly over the heated coil. This concentrates the flavor, and you’ll definitely taste the difference!

Air flow on the Cheetah 2 and Cheetah II mini

Houston, There’s No Tank

Although many vapers love the convenience of atomizer tanks, there’s just something about vaping with an RDA that reminds one of riding a vintage Harley Davidson. It’s just the ‘genuine article.’ However, for more convenience with your ‘retro’ experience, OBS has opted for extra user convenience with a generous 6mm deep juice well.

You can prep your vape by either pushing the top cover aside to drip the best e-liquid you can find into the well under the deck, or just drip e-juice down the wide bore drip tip. The easy to clean PEI drip tip (I first thought it was Ultem) provides exceptional heat resistance for a comfortable vape at high wattage. As a bonus, if you have a Goon-style 810 drip tip, you’ll be able to use it with the Cheeta II.

Decking It Out

The build deck on the OBS Cheetah 2If I had to pick the most outstanding feature of this RDA, it’s the brand new two-post build deck. To start with, the 20mm deck diameter (18mm for the Cheetah 2 Mini) is roomy enough for large coil builds and fits perfect on all the best vape mods. Secondly, each post deck consists of a clamp mechanism on one terminal, but conventional flathead screws at the top on the other terminal. This combines the classic feel of an RDA with a more secure clamp system for the contact points. The coil insertion hole on each terminal and the gap on each bottom clamp post hole is very generous, and the bottom clamp holes can accept special flat coil builds. As a result, there is plenty of room for complex configurations and large coil structures. We personally used Clapton Coils on it and it was perfect!

  • The OBS Cheetah 2 and Cheetah 2 Mini Boxes6mm well capacity and easy refill via the drip tip
  • PEI drip tip is easy to clean, and the Cheetah2 is compatible with 810 drip tips
  • Super-easy build and wicking thanks to the clever staggered post design
  • Room and opportunity for unusual and large deck builds
  • Clamp system provides security for the contact points
  • Flavor combined with super clouds
  • It’s an easy introduction to deck building for newer users.

The improved airflow provides a flavor fest at high wattage – performance which only an RDA can give you. Newcomers, who are use to some of the best e cigarettes and want to try advanced vaping, and flavor chasers will absolutely love the simplicity of deck building and the range of options they will have. If you enjoy experimenting with flavors but have been hesitant about trying your hand at building your own deck, this is your RDA!

Wismec Reuleaux RX Gen 3 Review: Breakdown

RX Gen 3 colors

Build Quality

Coming in at an extremely tiny 113.7mm*48.8mm*39.3mm, the RX Gen 3 can actually be considered not only the tiniest 3 battery device but also a mod that even outdoes many dual 18650 devices out in the market right now in terms of overall compactness. Featuring a revised new facade that significantly differs from its previous iterations, the Gen 3  looks sleek and sexy as hell, with a design that is remarkably reminiscent of the entire RX line but with a touch of refinement that marks its place as the penultimate and superior version of the entire lineup.

The front of the mod holds the futuristic and fresh looking front plate seamlessly melding the screen with the entire front region of the mod, which in my opinion, looks really really good. Featuring the same JayBo marked firing button with the familiar up and down wattage buttons located directly below it. All buttons used on the Gen 3 are extremely and respond well to touch, making operation easy, smooth, and fun. The display itself shows off a much-upgraded UI that easily surpasses the legibility and overall information of the older RX devices.

Looking at the bottom of the Gen 3 is the trapdoor battery compartment that holds a spring-loaded latch that lets the battery door pop right open. I feel that structurally speaking, this might be the weakest component of the entire mod as the hinge feels flimsy and weak, and frankly speaking, I wouldn’t be surprised if door stopped working optimally within a few months worth of use. Upon closer inspection of the battery compartment, you’ll find the slots for where each of the triple 18650 batteries slides into its series configuration for the device.

Battery tolerances are extremely tight for this device which explains a lot in regards to how Wismec was able to make the Gen 3 incredibly compact. Looking closely in between the spaces of the batteries installed in the mod, there is barely even half a millimeter of space between each of the three batteries. I feel that at some point during operation that its inevitable that some of the batteries end up touching so utmost battery safety is crucial here- Absolutely no using of batteries with torn or damaged wraps.

Moving ono the star of the show, the Gen 3’s 510 connection. For those of you who haven’t been following Wismec’s releases closely for the past year or two, Wismec has garnered a reputation for making well-designed devices with the unfortunate setback of using poor quality 510 connections. Well, I’m glad to report that isn’t the case any longer as the Gen 3 looks to be sporting a totally new spring loaded 510 connection that promises to make perfect connections to all of your atomizers.

Unlike the 510 of the Wismec Predator which was poorly press-fitted into the body of the mod which led to catastrophic issues in terms of build quality and durability, the Gen 3’s 510 seems to be built into the actual body of the device ensuring rock solid stability and durability. My only gripe regarding the 510 connection is despite the wattage potential of the Gen 3 to power the biggest and baddest atomizers out there, the Gen 3 only supports atomizers up to 25mm in diameter. Using anything larger than that will result in a very noticeable and unsightly overhang evident on the front portion of the device.

Vapor Quality

The Gen 3 kit comes bundled with new Gnome tank which supports the new WM coil heads. The included coil heads are the WM02 Dual 0.15 ohm coil head (rated for an ideal wattage of 45-60 watts), and a WM03 Triple 0.2ohm coil head (rated for an optimal setting of 70-90 watts).

Both coil heads perform well enough delivering enough flavor and vapor through the tank. Durability seems to be up there on the top as well with each of the coil heads lasting about 5-7 days of full straight use before noticing any discernable drop in flavor and vapor quality. For those into building their own coils, the Gnome features support for an RBA coil head which is sold separately.

Looking at the tank section itself, the Gnome sports a 25mm diameter base with a retractable sliding top fill mechanism not unlike the system found on Smok tanks, making refills easy, neat, and painless. The tank holds up to 4ml of eliquid and features what’s dubbed as a “stealth” dual bottom airflow control.

While I’m not 100% certain what’s so stealthy about the airflow control, adjusting the airflow control ring is simple enough to get that desired tightness or looseness in the draw.

RX Gen 3 front and profile

The Gen 3 offers full support for each of the 3 Temperature Control modes, namely stainless steel, nickel, and titanium. Also provided is adjustable TCR modes and a customisable pre-heat setting for vaping in wattage mode.

While the Gen 3 is certainly capable of powering the largest coils you can muster to build, you won’t be able to use the large format atomizers such as the Mason on this device without noticeable overhang which is a pity as it feels like the Gen 3 has so much more to offer in terms of total power delivery.

The Gen 3 probably holds the singular title of being the only triple battery device that offers a modicum of portability. Fitting comfortably enough into most pockets making storage simple and easy, the Gen 3 is the high powered vapers dream finally letting them get their kicks on without having to lug around an unwieldy device that feels heavy and cumbersome to operate and carry.

The battery life is a gift that just keeps on giving as well lasting up to 2 full days worth of heavy use making it the perfect mod for carrying around on longer trips where a charger won’t be accessible.

RX Gen 3 full kit

For anyone in the market looking for a new, excellently designed high power device that goes up to 300 watts, the Gen 3 is definitely one of the best bets you can make.

Even for those shopping around for a simple 200 watt or 2 battery mod, the Gen 3 is still a great option due to its compact frame which rivals the majority of dual battery devices available in the market.

Just keep in mind that you’ll be needing 3 married batteries to safely run this sort of setup as well as a 4 bay external charger at the very least.

Ever since I can remember, Wismec has always been the three-battery company.

Now I can’t quite recall if they made the first three-battery vape mod, but I know for sure the first box I got with three cells was an RX 2/3.

At the time, three batteries and 250 watts of power was amazing, something that was simply unfathomable!

Fast forward to the Wismec Reuleaux RX GEN3, and it can be seen Wismec has come a long way.

This mod is freakin TINY.

When I first got it, I was shocked you could fit three batteries in there.

And not only does it hit 250W, it goes all the way up to 300W!

With that, let’s take a closer look at the visual and exterior aspects of the mod.

Wismec Reuleaux RX GEN3 REVIEW: DESIGN

Wismec reuleaux RX GEN3
Focus On www.urvapin.com For More Best Vape mods.

I know I’ve already said it TWICE but this mod is mind-blowingly small.

I just can’t wrap my head around the form factor.

I have big meaty paws, so I’m not a big fan of little one battery mods. But at the same time a big, bulky mod is a pain to carry around.

This beast just slips right into a pocket and protrudes slightly more than your average two-battery mod.

In a jacket, forget about it! The device is crazy light, you’ll barely notice it’s in there compared to other 3×18650 cell mods around at the moment.

And for me, this is where Wismec has really scored big.

It has taken the concept of a three-cell mod, taken away the downsides (size), and produced a mod that embodies everything you could possibly want from a modern box mod.

Acquiring three cells, or six if you want to run it correctly with zero downtime, can be expensive.

But the upshot of this expense is that you get around 30% better battery performance, meaning less downtime and more vaping.

I’ve also yet to see a three-cell mod that looks as good as this one.

As for the body styling, it sticks to the traditional RX styling, only reducing the size.

And I dig it!

The features are basically the same, and the ability to upload a logo of your choice is a nice touch.

Wismec reuleaux RX GEN3

It’s actually really easy to do as well; simply get a black and white bitmap image or convert an image by re-saving it in bitmap form, invert the colors, and voila there’s your image on a black background.

Then you just download the Wismec software and use it the same way as any of the RX devices.

The only issue I have with the design of this mod is the screen and fire button; they are loosely assembled.

The screen has a slight clicking noise if you barely tap it, and the fire button rattles a bit if you shake the mod.

It was this way since it came out of the box, however, I do know a few people who have the same device without these issues.

Overall I’d say the mod is beautifully designed, and the size of the device is simply amazing given its three-cell capacity.

Wismec reuleaux RX GEN3

This box blows away most devices I’ve vaped on. Again, it really comes down to the size versus the performance.

Compare it to the RX300 Wismec released not more than a year ago and the size difference is game-changing.

One nice feature that the Wismec Reuleaux RX GEN3 has which the previous three battery RX mods did not is individual battery meters.

The only problem is that the mod likes to discharge the batteries unevenly sometimes, and this is simply due to the fact that two of the batteries are in series, and that set is in parallel with the other battery, which makes for a weird load on the batteries.

The battery life at around 100 watts is pretty long, as I vape a solid amount day to day and it lasts me 2 days with Sony VTC6’s.

I’m used to changing batteries every day with a two-battery mod, so it’s really nice to be able to just grab my vape and head out in the morning on the second day.

Wismec Reuleaux RX GEN3 Specs and Features:

Wismec reuleaux RX GEN3

The RX Gen3 is kitted out for MASSIVE performance. You have plenty of power, TC vaping modes, and MASSES of battery life.

I also happen to think it is one of the best looking vape mods around right now. Especially in green.

This kit has really impressed me. I was initially pretty apprehensive, as I’ve had some issues with Wismec mods in the past.

But the GEN3 is utterly superb. To date, I’ve had zero issues with this mod – and I’ve been running it for a good month and a bit now.

As you can see below, the GEN3 packs in a TON of cool features and specs.

  • Triple 18650 Battery Platform – Batteries Not Included

Smok TFV8 Baby Beast – A Small Sized Tank with Beastly Performance!

Smok TFV8 Baby Beast Review

Smok TFV8 Baby Beast Review

Smok has been releasing tons of products lately, and this right here is one of the latest tanks released by Smok. The bigger, and first Smok TFV8 Subohm Tank was highly successful, and just like the original TFV4, a smaller version is released afterwards.

As we all know, subohm tanks are extremely popular at the moment, and I’m sure with this specific tank, vapers definitely have high hopes due to the success of the original TFV4 line.

This is the review for the Smok TFV8 Baby Beast. I will go over the many different aspects of this tank, and tell you what I like and if there is anything I do not like about this subohm tank as well as tell you how it compares to the rest

Focus On www.ave40.com For More Vape Tank.

Out of the Box

When first taking the Smok TFV8 Baby Beast out of the original packaging, what I noticed was how small the actual tank was. Everyone knows that the Smok TFV8 Subohm Tank is quite large, and just seeing how small this tank is, I knew this would be a completely different vape experience.

Honestly, this tank is quite small overall, and definitely smaller than most of the newer subohm tanks that are being released. The overall diameter of the Smok TFV8 Baby Beast is 22mm, so I knew right away it would look great on most devices I owned.

Since this tank is quite small, I already knew the e-liquid capacity wasn’t huge. In addition, since this subohm tank was in the TFV8 line, I already knew this tank would probably go through e-liquid quite quickly. This can surely be a con, but I will go more into detail with this specifically in the cons section down below.

The packaging itself was relatively simple, and within the packaging you do receive an extra coil head,an additional glass section, and some extras such are spare o-rings. It was a huge pro for me that they included the extra glass, because I know many people break the glass on tanks quite often. Things just tend to happen sometimes, so with this extra glass section, at least you know you have a backup with this subohm tank.

In addition, another thing I noticed was that the build quality was actually really good. I was surprised by how good the machining was on this tank, as I did not notice anything off. The threads were pretty smooth overall, and it surely felt of quality.

Also, the top fill hinge was very easy to use, and open quite easily, but you did have to use just enough force to open it. This, I think was a great thing, because it was not wobbly, and felt secure, so you don’t have to worry about the hinge swinging open while this tank is in your pocket or purse.

The delrin drip tip included is quite tall though. This can be a subjective con, but thankfully you are able to change it to something you prefer to use. This is definitely a pro, as many people like using their own customized 510 drip tip.

Smok TFV8 Baby Beast Review

The wide bore delrin drip seemed comfortable though, and did not bother me to the point where I felt I wanted to change it out. I actually prefer wide bore drip tips in comparison to normal smaller bore 510 drip tips.

The airflow control ring moved easily as well, with no issues. It move easily enough, yet I felt that when using it, it would not just move around due to it being loose. The airflow control ring was definitely secure wherever it was positioned.

The next thing I noticed when first looking at this subohm tank is that the coil heads were not huge by any means. It is surely bigger than some coil heads, say an Aspire Atlantis Coil Head in regards to the width, but it was not on the scale of the TFV8 or TFV4 coil heads for sure.

Even though the coil heads were small in comparison to other Smok coil heads, I do feel that these coil heads were quite big for the tank’s size. I do not think this is a con, but I do think it is something to mention.

Another huge pro for the Smok TFV8 Baby Beast was that there was hardly any machine oil. One rinse with soap and water was all it took for this tank to be ready to be vaped!

So the main question for this tank is definitely how does it perform? Well I can say it definitely performs! I do like how this tank performs overall and will go over it more in detail down below!

I do want to state though before getting any further, with either coil head; it did not take long to break in. I know this is something people definitely want to know, so I would say with maybe a half of a tank, the coils were broken in. The coils were fully broken in with just about a full tank, where I was getting full on flavor.

The two coil heads included with this tank were the V8 Baby-Q2 Dual Coil 0.4 ohm, and the V8 Baby-T8 Octuple Coil 0.15 ohm. Each coil performed quite well, but there was a clear winner for me in regards to which performed better overall.

The coil head I enjoyed using the most was the V8 Baby-Q2 Dual Coil 0.4 ohm. For some reason, the flavor was just better with this coil head. In addition, you did not need nearly as much wattage to get a nice, satisfying vape.

The 0.15 ohm coil head performed great as well, but the flavor was lacking just a tad bit in comparison to the 0.4 ohm coil head. I do like the vape experience from this coil head as well, but like said previously, the 0.4 ohm coil head just simply out performed it.

The flavor with the 0.4 ohm coil head was excellent, and definitely above average. The flavor is not as good as an RDA, but close enough where I felt satisfied with it. In addition, the vapor production was really good.

The vapor production wasn’t as great as say the original TFV4 or the full sized TFV8, but it was definitely solid. If you are looking for a full blown cloud chasing tank, you’d probably be more interested in the TFV8 for sure, rather than this smaller version.

For how I vape, I found that the best performance in regards to airflow was closed to about half way. This tank is definitely airy when it’s wide open, and cuts down in flavor when you have it set this way. The flavor was okay with it being wide open, but it definitely improved by a ton with it closed off a bit.

Also, since I prefer a restricted lung hit, this was best for the way I vape. For the 0.4 ohm coil head, I found a very satisfying vape at about 55w. You can definitely go higher, but I felt that this was perfect in regards to warmth of the vapor and the overall performance.

Smok TFV8 Baby Beast Review

With this specific coil head, I put at least 60ml of e-liquid and it is still performing well. I do not notice any burnt taste, nor is the performance lacking in any way. This is surely another pro!

With higher wattages such as 80w and above, it definitely could not keep up as well when chain vaping. At my preferred wattage, I could easily chain vape with no dry hits and it kept up like a champ! This would definitely be for both coil heads.

It is important to note that I did use max VG e-liquid in the Smok TFV8 Baby Beast. Maybe with a slightly thinner e-liquid it could have easily handled higher wattage chain vaping.

However, if you vape this tank often, but do not chain vape consistently, I do feel that higher wattages are no issue, and it kept up quite well overall. I did not notice a dry hit at higher wattages, but it certainly felt it was on the verge of it, hence is why I do think it cannot keep up quite as well with slightly lower wattages. If you do not chain vape often, then this is definitely not a concern.

Filling this tank is quite easy, and quick. I love how easy it is to fill this tank, and this hinge system that Smok uses is definitely one of the better top fill designs in my opinion. Also, when closing the hinge, it firmly locks into place and you can surely feel when it does that. This is surely a huge pro!

Speaking about e-liquid, this tank can definitely go through it quite quickly, especially at higher wattages. This is something I will get more into down below in the cons section.

Also, I did not experience any leaking with this tank, which is another major pro. However, I did experience some slight seeping when the tank was laid on its side, but it was not a large amount of e-liquid.

For the 0.15 ohm coil head, I found the optimal wattage was at about 75w. With this wattage, the flavor was good and the vapor production was solid.

The included delrin drip tip was definitely comfortable to use. I still think that it is quite tall for this tank, but in regards to comfort, it was certainly comfortable to use.

Overall, this tank is surely a performer. Both of the coil heads performed well, but the clear winner for me was the 0.4 ohm coil head. The airflow was nice and airy, and was definitely not turbulent in any way. Even though this tank performed quite well overall, it did have some cons which I will go over down below in the next section!

Yes, the Smok TFV8 Baby Beast definitely has some cons to it. The first con is the e-liquid capacity, and how fast this tank can go through it.

This subohm tank has a 3ml e-liquid capacity. I do think it is fine that this tank has a 3ml e-liquid capacity, especially given its size, but this tank really goes through juice quickly. The e-liquid capacity itself is not a huge con, as it is extremely easy to fill.

At higher wattages, you can probably empty the full 3ml tank in under an hour easily, especially when chain vaping. At my preferred wattage, a tank on average would last just about 2 hours of consistent vaping.

A second con is that this tank does not include an RBA section. The RBA section is a separate purchase, and even though this tank is quite cheaper than the full sized TFV8, which does include an RBA section, I do think it would have been a nice addition if it did include one.

However, given the price of the Smok TFV8 Baby Beast, I can see why it is not included, but this is definitely something worth mentioning.

Smok TFV8 Baby Beast Review

Another con is that this tank can get quite warm, especially if you are vaping often. Even the included delrin drip tip got slightly warm. It did not get extremely hot, but it did get warm enough where I felt it was uncomfortable, especially the tank itself.

A subjective con is the included delrin drip tip. I just think it looks awkward simply, because it is tall and the tank itself is small. Like said before, it is comfortable to use, but I personally do not like how it looks.

All in all, even though there are some slight cons to this tank, it does not take away from its incredible performance, which leads me into the next section, my conclusion!

In conclusion, the Smok TFV8 Baby Beast Subohm Tank is a solid performer. The flavor on this tank is quite good, and the airflow is excellent. They include an extra spare glass section with this tank, which is another huge pro!

The tank has a nice, compact design which I think is a great change in comparison to the full sized TFV8. This tank is definitely not a cloud chaser like the full sized TFV8, which some people may not like since it is in the TFV8 family of tanks.

Honestly, I think Smok took the right direction for this tank. Making this subohm tank smaller overall, and introducing new coil heads that do not require as much power, just appeals to another crowd of vapers.

Like said previously, if you are looking for a full blown cloud chasing subohm tank, you would definitely be much more interested in the full sized TFV8.

A huge pro for me, personally, was the fact that this tank did not leak on me at all. It never leaked when filling it nor when leaving it overnight with e-liquid in it. It did have some e-liquid residue when laid on its side, but nothing major, where I felt it was a concern.

Smok TFV8 Baby Beast Review

Even though there are tons of pros to this tank, it does have some slight cons. It does get warm when chain vaping, and even to an uncomfortable level at times. However, with all of the pros mentioned, I honestly looked past this con as it only happened when chain vaping consistently.

All in all, for the price of this tank, it really is a winner and definitely beats some of the tanks I have recently used. Smok has definitely done a great job with this tank!

This is one of the subohm tanks that I use daily, and I continue to use it up to this day simply, because it is just dependable.

If you are looking for a solid performing subohm tank, I highly recommend checking out the Smok TFV8 Baby Beast! Thanks for reading!

Templar RDA – new implementation of Velocity – similar racks from Augvape

If you remember about the company Augvape, then the first thing that comes to mind, it’s drip a friend. It was so massively distributed on the Internet, that probably everyone knows about it. Today, a new drip – Templar RDA – is on hand. The highlight of the device is in the racks, which allow you to clamp the legs of the spiral with just one screw. A bundle of dribbling Templar and  Modefined Sirius 200w .

Focus On www.urvapin.com For Best Vape Tanks.

Dripochka arrives in the tube. On the packaging QR-code for checking originality, as well as links to social networks. In the RDA tube, a plastic cap, a package with dopas, where the o-rings are lying, a squonk pin, an adapter for 510-x drippers, a plug for one spiral.

Information for information

Augvape Templar RDA is made from 304 SS and at the time of this article’s release it is possible in two colors: SS and Gun Metall, while the base will always be gilded, and the dome part of different colors. The device has the ability to adjust the side airflow with a three-stage detuning system, allows you to muffle the space for a single spiral with a special spacer, and replace the pin with squonk-pin.

Height without drip-type: 21 mm
Height with drip-type: 26.7 mm
Diameter: 24 mm

810 drip-type black, which is installed in the top cover frankly not comfortable. The edges are sharp, this is immediately felt when you start to soar. However, it is narrow and low.

Its 810 perfectly fit, so it’s better to replace the driptype immediately. It is kept in the top cover on the ring confidently. The top cover is engraved with the name of the drip, while it performs the function of adjusting the blowing.

The blowing is regulated by means of 3 blades, which are executed in the form of steps. The inner part is processed under the hemisphere. When the lid rotates clockwise, the lopost is blocked by the blowing on the skirt, first the lower slot, then the middle, and then the upper one, overlap.

Implementation of the use of RDA with a single spiral is obtained with the use of a cap. It should be noted that the plug does not fit tightly to the skirt, air is sucked, while this spacer strongly steals the volume of the tub, which is only 4.7 mm deep.

The lid is held on one o-ring in a skirt. The dome has a company engraving and two air intake openings. At the bottom, the skirt has a step so that the skirt on the landing does not fall into the base.

Deca and it is interesting here. At the base there are racks. In the upper part there is one screw, which can be screwed with both a slotted screwdriver and a cross screwdriver.
Twisting the screw, simultaneously with it rises the rack. There are no springs!

At this point, open the holes for the installation of the legs of the spiral: two below and two on top.
On the side, the deck has a pair of o-rings that hold the skirt.

From below, the pin does not perform well, so it is forbidden to use the drip on mechanical modes for safety reasons.

Installation of the spiral and laying of the fleece

The spirals are quite simple to install. Installation counter, unscrewed the screw counterclockwise, put the legs, tightened the screw, corrected the spiral, tightened the screw tightened.

After the spiral can be raised a little higher blowing and see how it affects the taste.

How to install the spiral, apply voltage from 40 W, we start burning spirals, so that the heating goes evenly from the center and to the edges.

After that, fill the ends of the fleece, which was measured on the first o-ring on the deck, in the bath.

rdahaWe drenched it with a needle, put on a dome and you can talk about the Templar RDA.

By the way, the plastic cap is pulled on the deck and in this kind of device you can soar. Outwardly, not everyone can like this form of cap, where there is no clearly expressed drip-type, while the matte transparency makes us sad.

Overall Impression

.Obduv tight even on wet o-rings. But once rebuilt and you can not be afraid that he will fail. The taste is given by this drupulka, reveals it to the constituent parts due to the low height and small evaporation chamber.

In addition, a 3-step blow-off system with a slot view helps. Excellent opportunities to experiment by opening or closing slots.
A year-long dribbling of the Templar, will it enter the Veaper environment, or is the word vaper no longer fashionable today?

Cons and pros

– no pin acts so that this device can be used on mehmodah,
– very tight blowing adjustment, if the fingers are weak, it will slip,
-good performance, –
convenient installation of spirals, you only need to unscrew one screw
– three stages of the blower adjustment,
– there are options for setting 510 and 810 drip-types, – the
taste is bright, a good bouquet, it is important to experiment with spirals.

On March 26, Voopoo Company presented the Uforce T1 tank in the instagram. When creating the device, the developers were inspired by the image of the hero of Maverick, but not the one played by Tom Cruise in Top Gun, but the character of the comic book Marvel. This fact is noted on the official website – in the same place you can get acquainted with all available color options, which have accumulated as many as 18.

Details requiring manipulation, girded with a rough texture. The blowing adjustment was provided with a ring from below. Topkec was made shifting counter-clockwise – so access to the filling opening opens.

The tank can work with all brand evaporators of the U, N and R series. Among them there are both serviced variants and variants with a grid. The device is versatile in terms of volume: all thanks to the possibility of installing any branded glass. In a standard kit, the volume is 8 or 3.5 ml.
